"Everyday" star sightings

Postby Woody » Tue Jan 09, 2007 18:29:39

I saw Rollie Fingers and Deacon Jones on the cruise I took last February.

Rollie was standing next to me during the initial Life Jacket drill the first night on the ship, but I didn't bother him at all
you sure do seem to have a lot of time on your hands to be on this forum? Do you have a job? Are you a shut-in?

I didn't even mention it when Gifford was there, a lot of people were around and he had his kids with him who were pretty little at the time. I wasn't that old myself, but it was neat meeting him though, I think it was right after the time he got caught cheating on Kathy Lee and had left MNF.

I shook hands with Seth Green on the set of Four Kings after the last show they taped.

True story: Gary Busey offered me an oppurtunity to punch him in the face, if only I allowed him to return the favor to my own face- I respectfully declined (one of my few regrets in life).

Dude is straight nuts.

I used to work at the Costco in KOP and Billy King, Rheal Cormier, Larry Andersen, and Lou Tilly were all regulars there. Probably some others that I am missing.
Another day, another box of stolen pens.

Here's a few

Met Clarence Clemons when I was in Jr. High
Driving home from school, saw Bruce Springsteen jogging
Was in the same pizzeria with Pete Incaviglia in Clearwater
Eudora Welty
Sat behind Sheryl Crow at special screening of the movie Back Beat
In an airport bar, Richard Tyson, the bad guy in Kindergarten Cop

I've met a number of politicians--Mike Huckabee, Mike Beebe, Mike Ross, Blanche Lincoln, David Pryor, Jim Florio, Antonin Scalia, probably a few others.

My wife however knew Kristin Davis and was roommates with Jamie Gallo star of infomercials for the Thane Fitness Orbitrek.

I watched "Signs" with Randy Wolf and Dave Coggin (and the two floozies they were with).

They were laughing particularly loud at the scene when the Army recruiter is giving Merrill a hard time about how famous he should be for playing in the minors.

Not true, I really enjoyed the sixth sense and unbreakable, but I found signs laughable, even if it was some sort of parable...i just think it was a bad movie....plus the whole 'psychic/sensitive' children thing was already played out.

I think that's his name institutionally, at this point. I read someone on AICN refer to him as that yesterday (he announced he's doing a trilogy of movies called "Avatar" the same day Cameron announced... "Avatar").
