Huh. I guess I assumed exactly the opposite- that by continuing the BSG name in some form we would be honoring your legacy. But to each his/her own, I guess. We will pick something else.

Have you given any consideration to allowing us to have a backup of the post and membername data? As moma explains it to me,I understand that the themes and other customizations won't translate into a contemporary PHPBBBBB version, but that's OK- we've got 13 years of memory here that we'd love to preserve. Understood that it might be messy and not even possible, but I'm willing to volunteer moma to give it a shot if there's anyway you could give us the post data . (All kidding aside, we've got a several more members with technical expertise here, and could possibly contract someone out in PHPBB land if necessary). The overwhelming support to move forward really makes me want to see if it's possible to preserve our history together.
