Maybe this will bring you back to the fold. My son's part time college job is retail in an outdoor store. One of his co-workers who lacks a filter dropped the whole Karen thing about a customer. A woman who is of the karen generation, happens to be named Karen overheard his diatribe and thinks it's about her... because she does not know what a Karen is... so it bubbles up to ... wait for it... the manager and the kid got tossed.

Finally gave myself a decent haircut. Was happy. Asked the wife to just clean up the neck line and she presses the bare blade onto the back of my head. Looks like I had a chip implanted.
