The Constitution doesn't matter with the new world conservatives. They've been pushing for decades to undermine the democracy and elevate the president to King. Both parties have played a part, but the GOP has the desire to take this to the end game, a president who literally answers to nobody. They literally want a dictator and they have the people in place in the courts and legislature to finally get what they want. The Supremes are the only thing that stands in the way. Will Roberts cave? Hang in there, RBG.

Hope Roberts and the liberals on the court don't have any skeletons in their closets because Trump will use the CIA and FBI to find it and use it. It doesn't get talked about much, but it's clear that's what Cohen was doing and the National Inquire was being used to do. Does anyone doubt that Trump is now using the nation's intelligence apparatus to dig up kompromat on his political opponents? He's been doing this for decades and now he has possibly the greatest intelligence community on the planet at his disposal.

was thinking about the bernie stock option thing last night. figured there had to be more than the blurb that was pushed out here, and in fact there is.

This only applies to employees making more than $130,000 per year and vesting more than $100,000 worth of stock per year.

So yeah, not really much to see here. 99.99% of those receiving options will not be affected.

But hopefully that this was advantageous in that maybe JTK or McNeal will come around on long-term stock ownership as differentiated from short-term/day trader types.

Trump would be smart to take the reigns of this and throw all resources at it. It’s a massive win-win. Calling it a hoax and saying it will just disappear does nothing to help him.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

trump talking now. can't focus on anything other than the pale white circles around his eyes compared to his otherwise orange face.

President on Saturday doubled down on his criticism of the Federal Reserve and what he sees as its reluctance to lower interest rates in the midst of coronavirus fears and its potential impact on the American economy.

“Our Fed should start being a leader,” Trump said. “We should have the lowest interest rates. We don’t have the lowest interest rates. Our Fed rate is higher. You look at Germany, you look at Japan, you look at other countries: many of them have negative rates.”

He's such a fucking asshole.

Thinks they would pay him to borrow money, then he could get paid before declaring bankruptcy and keeping most of it as management and consulting fees.

The way political journo Twitter is talking, the ballot number on the early exits must be wild for Biden.

Will be interesting to see where this lands tonight.

Biden could get a lot of endorsements and $$ tomorrow.

Called as polls close. Backing out the early exits is Biden 45/Sanders 21/Steyer 12.

Would be a helluva number if he doubles up Bernie.

Biden. Called right at 7. Must have won by at least 15.

Big number considering all the Republican votes Trump rallied for Bernie

Code: Select all
PARTY                2004 2008  2016   2020
Democrat             71%   73%   82%   68%
Independent/Other    24    23    16    27
Republican            5     4     3     5

Can either Sanders or the coronavirus be stopped? I'm starting to come around to the idea that there's a conspiracy to keep Sanders from the nomination. The big media hates him. I mean, really hates him.

He will have like 36 hours to use it before he gets taken back to earth on Tuesday

Quite the opposite. Big media cares about clicks and views. Debate/paranoia over Sanders getting the Dem nomination will drive plenty of both.

He’s going to win big, or Steyer is going to force a three way tie. That was my guess before the debate, and it is what I still believe.

Nailed it. It was an easy call though.
