I've been working on a project for the last few years on post war liberalism tentatively titled "The Liberalism of Anxiety". The title was a riff on the Auden poem (but I really got it from an exhibit at MOMA and sort of the Bernstein's 2nd symphony...) and it deals with thinkers like Isaiah Berlin, Karl Popper, FA Hayek, Sidney Hook, and of course George Orwell among others. Probably could sell a lot of copies if I actually had a publishable manuscript. I've actually done a lot of work but the pieces are kind of all over the place.
