Doesn’t anyone in Iowa know how to use Excel?

Seems a tad foolish but Petes comms director for Iowa, Ben Hale, tweeted a lot of photos of the precinct forms that had results. However there is some sort of pin on them too which I think is used to submit results via the app.

Shadow Inc is the name of the company that developed the app. Lots of conspiracy theories floating around. Optics are not good.

The Democratic Party is run by absolute morons. This entire process should be studied as “how to lose an election” and “how to disenfranchise voters.”
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

We have to live in a simulation

Whatever the outcome, it definitely is going to have resulted from a conspiracy to screw the guy you like and elevate the guy you detest.

This is all very exhausting. Seemingly turn out was not great and now Silver and others are posturing that is a bad sign for dems when coupled with the special election results from 2019.

They are reading far too much into small sample sizes.

The fact that anyone could detest any of the Dem candidates—in this election of all times—is why we’re going to get Trump for 4 (20?) more years

Making conclusions about a candidate's general election strength or weakness based off of their performance in a contest that is wildly unrepresentative of the general electorate is a big leap.

There were three Congressional races (PA-12, NC-3, NC-9) and I think the GOP outperformed the partisan index in two. The GOP won all three, but there were seats vacated by other GOP.

There was also a big TX state race house that the Democrats fell flat in.

It definitely doesn’t feel as good as going into 2018. Who knows though.

He would have been hurt if this was a clean election result and he was far in 4th. Now the cycle will be swallowed by the shit show, the State of the Union, and then New Hampshire coming up.

There are 3 state house specials coming up next month in PA. We got destroyed in the special for a state senate seat a few weeks back. Republicans schedule the upcoming specials for St. Patrick's Day because they do not want people to vote, which is honorable of them. Dems only have a chance of flipping one, but doing so would go a long way in flipping the state house. Tough Republican to run against though as she is the daughter of a sitting state senator. Again small sample, but they start to add up. Hopefully there are good results there.
