I agree, but I think Recovering the Satellites is even better. Counting Crows is one of my all time favorites. If you have Spotify, check this out, they put on a great live show.

My wife has seen them twice live and said both times they were dreadful. I’d like to see them but kinda gun shy now

They are pretty bad live tbh. Adam changes the lyrics live alot.

I think I've listened to this on youtube before.

Recovering the satellites is great too. Even the 2015 album was decent. Possibility days is a really good song.

Yeah I find you have to really love •Adam• to enjoy their live show. If you love the pop songs, you’re going to get frustrated real quick. I remember being at a show not too long after Satellites came out and a guy next to me screaming SING THE FUCKING SONG while Adam was going on and on during Murder of One with some poetry he had written backstage. Love Counting Crows, but I do not enjoy the live show (though the payoff in that song is still amazing every time).
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

I saw Counting Crows in, oh, probably '99-'00? Not good.

But the opening band, Actual Tigers, was great.

These guys need a little bit more lead in their diet.

That's crazy. there isn't one near me anymore,so I don't go, but when the kids were at home that was 90% of the reason to go.

They clearly overreacted.

don't know if this is a stage of some midlife crisis shit here, but damn looking back, you can really do a lot of things and accumulate some crazy stories when you don't get married, have kids, or have a real job. probably going to die lonely somewhere hooked up to some tubes so they don't have to get me out of bed for the last 5 years of my life, but it's one of those trade-offs i guess.

I can't believe they haven't gone to a system where the winner gets a "win" and the loser gets a "loss". Nobody talks about how many points a baseball team has.
