My only other three bets today were Georgia -6, Indiana/NW under 44 and Oregon -4. I don't think I've ever had a better day gambling in my life.

There's no greater illustration of the difference between having kids and not having kids than the daylight savings time extra hour.

Vintage stuff is getting out of hand. See t-shirts you can get at Salvation Army going for 80 bucks.

i believe it.

know a guy who sells some decent denim stuff which seems a bit more understandable. but he also sells old boy scout tees for like 40 a pop. why are these cool?! i never thought they were cool when i had to wear them throughout my middle and high school career.

My mom has done that throughout her life. I've sort of wondered if all the hustle is really worth it, but she made it work over the years. I guess with me being an only child instead of having multiple kids to deal with, it allowed her not get a "normal" job. She sold a watch the other day on eBay for $293, probably spent $5 on it. She got good at this stuff over the years, buying at random thrift shops, auctions, stores, knowing people. I wouldn't call her an antique dealer but it's the closest description I guess.

i have a few friends who have done this and one quite, successful. they started at goodwill reselling to buffalo exchange. one has a nice used/vintage clothing shop with a travel trailer she made into a mobile storefront for festivals. another bought a five bedroom 3500 square foot home with a three car garage and uses the garage and three bedrooms as storage for her ebay biz. she expanded to other vintage items besides clothes. i am guessing about 40k-65k a year. it's definitely a full time job for both, but they enjoy it.

Forgot to mention this after halloween, but one house in the neighborhood there were 2 dudes in maybe their early 30's sitting in lawn chairs in the driveway with a metal fire pit drinking beers and handing out candy to the kids. Behind them was a new white camaro with a brazzers decal across the entire bottom of the windshield, it was not in anyway subtle, it was very large and the black and yellow colors stood out starkly to the white finish of the car. Why would someone do this?

I haven't been to the dentist in five years because I disliked the receptionist.
