It's kind of funny how when conservatives engage in a "stand off", even when they are armed and take the area by force, like those farmers out west a few years ago, they are patriots and freedom fighters, but when liberals protest, they are just lazy, disruptive, and should find something better to do like get a job.

Republican lawmakers have been allowed to witness the interviews in the impeachment inquiry. The GOP House members who tried to storm today’s closed-door interview do not sit on the committees leading the impeachment inquiry and thus are not allowed to participate.
It’s worth noting that the dozens of Republican lawmakers who do sit on the three investigating panels have been able to watch the interviews so far.
What Gaetz and his allies are demanding is that lawmakers who are not members of those committees be allowed to participate, which the House parliamentarian has already ruled is not in line with congressional procedure.
According to @GerryConnolly the GOP members who protested the COOPER deposition have essentially SHUT DOWN the impeachment inquiry for a time.
Cooper has not been able to start testifying bc members stormed the room.
They’re currently consulting Sargent at Arms.

Trump's defense position is getting more stupid. In essence its "it doesn't matter that we definitely were tying the military aid and a White House visit to them investigating my political opponent because the Ukranians weren't smart enough to have made that connection yet" Like if you rob someone's house and they don't realize it, have they really been robbed??

it's not really any worse than the Pence line of defense that Trump said he didn't do it and that's in a text so it doesn't matter what has been testified to because Trump said he didn't do it. That didn't do it by the way is in regard to the infamous and confirmed statement that he instructed the Ambassador to the EU that there was no quid pro quo.

It is a shame for Donald Trump that the guy in charge of the Trump administration is so incompetent and so bad at hiring people that these problems keep happening!
