Standards Scale
M = Modified Expectations E = Exceeding Expectations 3 = Achieved Expectations
2 = Approaching Expectation 1 = Below Expectations
Math
M = Modified Expectations
E = Exceeding Expectations
3, 3+ = Achieved Expectations 2, 2+ = Approaching Expectation 1 = Below Expectations
Qualities of a Learner
C = Consistently O = Occasionally R = Rarely
* = Not Instructed
So...is M good?
I don’t think so, I think it is like what you get if you move in at the end of a trimester or something, but I have no idea.
Also, my kids are smart, my son is always 95th plus percentile in math and reading on the standardized tests. He’s on a high school reading level, he just started the dark tower series, and is in an accelerated math program where he took 7th grade math this past year in 6th grade and is going into prealgebra in the fall. He does his homework and gets great scores on his tests and quizzes but he gets 3’s in all of his classes. I feel like based on their scale that would equate to a B, but I really don’t feel like he’s a B student, or at least a straight B student, he’s never gotten anything other than a 3 so I just don’t get it. Is a 3 an A? Then wtf is an E?
