The U.S. Treasury saw a 31 percent drop in corporate tax revenues last year, almost twice the decline official budget forecasters had predicted. Receipts were projected to rebound sharply this year, but so far they’ve only continued to fall, down by almost 9 percent or $11 billion.
Overall corporate revenues last year amounted to 1 percent of GDP, a level they’ve dipped to only twice since 1965. Both of those previous instances, in 2009 and 1983, came in the wake of recessions, when business profits had cratered.

@FoxNews Polls are always bad for me. They were against Crooked Hillary also. Something weird going on at Fox. Our polls show us leading in all 17 Swing States. For the record, I didn’t spend 30 hours with @abcnews, but rather a tiny fraction of that. More Fake News @BretBaier

Pentagon and intelligence officials described broad hesitation to go into detail with Mr. Trump about operations against Russia for concern over his reaction — and the possibility that he might countermand it or discuss it with foreign officials, as he did in 2017 when he mentioned a sensitive operation in Syria to the Russian foreign minister.
Because the new law defines the actions in cyberspace as akin to traditional military activity on the ground, in the air or at sea, no such briefing would be necessary, they added.
The intent of the operations was described in different ways by several current and former national security officials. Some called it “signaling” Russia, a sort of digital shot across the bow. Others said the moves were intended to position the United States to respond if Mr. Putin became more aggressive.

Phil Murphy and the administration to shut down the investigation of a special governor’s task force into the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
The filing by the insurance executive also sought to halt any further public hearings and to stop the task force from issuing additional subpoenas.
LOL GTFO
Hahah that’s amazing.
The report’s references to special interests had come to light during public hearings by the task force, in particular the role played by Kevin Sheehan, an attorney at Parker McCay — the law firm run by Norcross’ brother, Philip — in re-writing the draft legislation that would ultimately become New Jersey’s tax incentive law. Those changes benefitted George Norcross and other clients of Parker McCay, said the task force.

Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States. They will be removed as fast as they come in. Mexico, using their strong immigration laws, is doing a very good job of stopping people.......

....long before they get to our Southern Border. Guatemala is getting ready to sign a Safe-Third Agreement. The only ones who won’t do anything are the Democrats in Congress. They must vote to get rid of the loopholes, and fix asylum! If so, Border Crisis will end quickly!

Just showing the tweets that JB referenced above.
Honestly, if not for the tremendous personal toll it would take on those involved, I would almost be rooting for this to be a success so that people could actually see the enormous negative impact on our country such action would have. The incredible irony is that one of the industries that would be most negatively impacted by a sudden loss of migrants would be the hotel industry. Trump is so fucking stupid he probably doesn't even realize it. Remember the last time you ran into an English-speaking or non-heavily accented chambermaid? Yeah, me neither.

Those tweets are all bark, no bite. Just throwing red meat out to his base ahead of formally announcing his reelection bid tonight.
