Where the hell is the new POLITICS thread?

From the lawsuit:

"The identity of those behind these Twitter accounts is a matter of great public concern. Whether the accounts are controlled by wealthy Democrats, the Democratic National Committee, an opposition research firm, such as Fusion GPS, the "Russians", the "Chinese", or some other foreign government or non-governmental organization, the corruption of American Democracy and society by intentional falsehoods, fraud and defamation must stop".

This coming from a guy who worships at the feet of a "man" who lies and/or attacks someone personally every fucking three seconds. Further, if the identity of the account holders is of "great public concern", surely the president's tax returns reaches that same standard.

A Buttigieg/Hickenlooper ticket would be kinda cool

This has to be some of the best stuff from the filing:

falsely stated that Nunes has “herp-face”

Yes, it says that.

complaint

Also, there is a Putin 2 Trump 2 Nunes human centipede in the filing.

It would be hilarious if Nunes accidentally shuttered Trumps twitter horn. FWIW, Twitter is a company and it can do what it wants, just like Fox News does whatever it wants.

He is also suing @DevinCow and @DevinNunesMom ... Some pretty hilarious shit in here.

@DevinCow, listed in the complaint as having 1204 followers, now has 189,000.

200k. There’s a twitter campaign to get the followers above those of Nunes.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

I feel like Al Franken's fav/unfav with Dem primary voters probably isn't terrible. I guess this can work to get some buzz and raise money, but as a long term play seems not sustainable. Not to say she was wrong.

In general, I just don't get the Gillibrand campaign, why she thought running was a good idea, etc.

And Andrew Yang, who has already qualified for the first debate so is a more serious candidate than Kirsten Gillibrand, came out against circumcision, a very important public policy stance.

Gillibrand is at 1% in the polls and has gotten the endorsement from only 1 of 22 members of the NY Dem delegation. But I'm glad you identified the real issue with Gillibrand's campaign, me!

Chester County Dems endorsed only one of two seats for county commissioner. They landed on the 30 something mayor who runs for everything and loses. And they endorsed the woman who was a republican before this cycle for sheriff. Good stuff from them.

[Cindy] McCain posted a photo of the private message on Twitter and wrote, "I want to make sure all of you could see how kind and loving a stranger can be. I'm posting her note for her family and friends could see."

The message said the sender was "glad" the late Arizona Republican is dead, and called him a "traitorous piece of warmongering s***." The message also attacked her daughter, Meghan McCain, criticizing her appearance and saying she hopes she "chokes to death."

Trumps regular festivus airing of grievances has no effect on anything. Right.
