The MD Governor race is a curiosity. Ben Jealous rolled out a the most Bernie like plank I think I have seen, but he is getting stuffed. He himself reported that 30% of the voters don't know who he is. My view from VA is that Hogan has been a good leader for the stat, and his moderate position has been a winner. He is approximately the anti-Trump. But in the peoples republic of Maryland it would seem that Jealous should be making it a fight and he just isn't. His platform is more or less being ignored by everyone including anything that I might have expected to show up in an ad.

GOP Gov candidate in Georgia pulled out of the debate. Why, because Trump is making himself available just before the debate was to start, so he can't make it. That said, it is his opponents fault because she will not flip her schedule to have the debate when he has time.

Yesterday we looked at who is voting early. Today we can take it a step further and look at how those voters are voting. For those not wanting to read, the takeaway is: Independents are breaking towards Democrats in the New York Times Upshot polls, and they are breaking heavily.

Yeah just meant they've had the Dem chances in the House and GOP chances in the Senate as pretty even percentage wise (both increasing) as the models have been out

After 2016 my assumption, until proven otherwise, is that the electoral process is rigged in the GOP's favor and that the party will maintain control of every branch of the federal government. The longer that there is significant dissonance between the polls and election results the more deeply I will hold this belief.

I will be pleasantly surprised if we have a blue House this January.

Walked by a TV talking about new polling in Tenn, and that there are some changes there, they also mentioned FL as on the move, but then the talking heads never said anything about either. 538 has Blackburn and Nelsen both with solid tracking.

Was this mentioned anywhere because I would think that the President of the United States admitting he is a liar would be big news:
