This guy also chairs the SJ Chamber's Congressional Action Committee (of which I am a member). Maybe I'll email them to see what their thoughts are on having a right-wing conspiracy nut on their staff.
You should. Give the guy a consequence for being a lying and/or moronic asshat. Push back, everywhere and all the time, that's how we win this thing. Even if it's something you don't think matters much, push back. We have to be relentless.
You convinced me.
Good morning –
I hope that you are doing well and had a great summer. I just received your reminder to register for the CAC event this coming Friday. Regarding that event, I was planning on registering today but then I read Mr. Johnston’s repulsive, unsubstantiated comments regarding the migrant groups on their way to Mexico. I understand the Chamber to be a fact-based organization, so it is extremely disappointing to learn that one of its directors has taken to embracing conspiracy theories (whether right- or left-winged) with no evidence whatsoever. Mr. Johnston is a prime example of what is wrong with today’s politics – filled with misinformation, innuendo, conspiracies and outright lies. In short, I will not be attending this coming event or any other event that involves Mr. Johnston.
Campbell Soup has made a public statement condemning Mr. Johnston’s comments; is the Chamber willing to do the same?

He's an outlier, which makes me think the culprit was from NY

I think its old news, but I do not remember a discussion about that particular something something. When I throw out the occasional 'living in crazy times', that any part of this passes any test of reality is unreal.

any clue if they sent a bunch of helicopters to the scene. Asking for a friend who saw a bunch of helicopters in the night earlier.

Suppress the vote by any means necessary. The Donald and his people have no choice. A Dem House means they go to prison. Their only chance is to maintain control of all chambers.
