The deficit rose to $779 billion in fiscal year 2018, up 17% from last year, according to final figures released Monday by the Treasury Department. That's the largest number since 2012, when the country was still spending massively to stimulate an economy struggling to recover.

Government receipts were flat this year from last year. Corporate tax collections fell $76 billion, or 22%, due to the Republican-backed tax cut. But that drop was more than offset by increased revenues from individual and self-employment taxes. The fiscal year ended September 30.

Obama still fucking our great country up. Seriously though, I am glad to see that hard-working people like us are subsidizing corporate America and its greedy AF executives. My tax bill increased nearly 75% while these fuckers are living high on the hog.

President Trump said Monday he would only donate $1 million on behalf of Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) if he tests her claims of Native American ancestry “personally.”

“I’ll only do it if I can test her personally," Trump told reporters in Georgia.

He said testing Warren would "not be something I will enjoy.”


This guy. I shutter to think about how he thinks a DNA test is done.

When pressed her PR rep said that this is what Dems do when they don't have answers.

No one knew these 15 dudes were sent on two different planes to go kidbap a guy. Those 15 guys did it all on their own! Even got out without being caught! Makes sense!

(The story makes sense with one glaring gap...that SA signed off on it. Just so happens to be the most important fact)

she has identified her heritage as cherokee. the dna test proved she had american indian lineage. when did she ever try to use the dna test to claim tribal membership???

Right, there's nothing in the video or the test that suggests she's indicating she has specifically Cherokee heritage. Not sure why the Cherokee Nation Secretary has his loincloth in a wad. I don't see what's offensive.

He said in his statement that claiming you’re Cherokee is impossible off a DNA test bc the DNA tests can’t show where you’re from, which would be important in claiming what group of native Americans you’re from. I don’t think it was that bad a statement but I also don’t see why she just did the DNA test

but she didn't claim that off the dna test. she has been claiming that for years. at this point she specifically says she isn't/can't claim tribal membership to any tribe at all.

I mean I thinks it’s reasonable for her to claim for years to be Cherokee, use a DNA test (that says it’s strongly possible she has NA lineage) to say “see!” In a political move and for a Cherokee rep to say something like he did

I don't. He's saying (indirectly, but not indirect enough to use 'inferring') that she used the dna test to try to claim tribal citizenship. Which she has not done- now or ever. In fact she explicitly said she is NOT doing that. So it's a big straw man he's throwing out there.

You said yourself that for years she has been claiming Cherokee heritage. Many people right now are using this evidence (mind you, only strong evidence there is distant NA relation, nothing conclusive) as proof of her claims being true. He responded to that
