I don't anything about this guy. Does he mean the government literally planted explosives at the mine or is he trying to link it to over-regulation or some such other straw man?

JUburton wrote:he also told WV to vote for 2 other people......and vote splitting them is exactly how a dude like blankenship wins with 34% of the vote.

I think if they had any idea who was better positioned to win between the other two, he'd have taken a side. Jenkins seems like the stronger general election candidate, but Democrats have been running ads against him trying to beat him in the primary. Morrisey is the more ideological of the two, but is at least a statewide official so would be plausible in a general election. Seems internal polling is all over the place, and the public polling (which is outdated at this point) wasn't any clearer. The worst outcome for him would be to back one of the other two explicitly, and that person to come in third. Without knowing who the person better positioned to win is, not sure he can do much more than say don't vote for Blankenship.

Blankenship winning would be even more embarrassing than Moore winning his primary in a lot of ways. Moore was a twice impeached bigot and whatnot, but at least he'd won statewide before and had actual supporters. Blankenship appears to bring nothing to the table besides raising a middle finger in the general direction of everyone.

First Lady Melania Trump’s cyberbullying pamphlet is near exact copy of Obama-era FTC report

"It was updated and edited to reflect today's event and we were happy to be able to provide the children in attendance with such a resource," Grisham told the Daily News.

But the only portions of the First Lady's pamphlet that are "updated and edited" is the title, the cover page, a few graphics of smartphones and a subhead that now reads "Sexting: Don't do it" instead of the Obama-era FTC report's "Sexting."

Well, it worked well the first time, why not try copying an Obama again.

It's just laziness. They don't really want to do anything. They don't look into their own nominees and they don't research things they say they understand (believe me). Netanyahu understands this, which is why his talk was given for Trump. Nobody is going to look into Netanyahu's claims. They just believe what they want to be true and go from there.

Schniederman hitting the exit is a good and right thing. KAC hits the twitter with "GOTCHA" in an amazing display of a double standard. I could applaud KAC *IF* she had bothered with using 100, ever 50 more characters to defame abuse and violence against women in all forms.

the idea that blankenship is leading in the polls coming into primary day is just insane. The three way candidate problem makes it possible. You would need to turn the clock back even further the the 1050's world that Don lives in to find a time when Blakenship might be a credible candidate (except in WDC). Unreal.

The only actual upside is that it would spit on Trump's pride.
