Jesus Rudy

"That money was not campaign money. Sorry, I'm giving you a fact now that you don't know. They funneled it through a law firm, and then the president repaid it."

Funneled it through a law firm.

John Roberts @johnrobertsFox
Rudy Giuliani told me that while @realDonaldTrump reimbursed Cohen for the $130k SD payment, POTUS didn’t know what the money was used for. Giuliani says Cohen merely told the President he had “expenses” for which POTUS reimbursed him.

This is not how it works ffs. If he committed a crime there would be an investigation, like there is now, and he would be impeached.

he won't be impeached if there isn't the political will for it. Do you think the GOP-led congress will impeach him? And some of this stuff was settled in the courts during Clinton's scandal, but other things haven't been decided and I don't really trust this court to side with justice.

Ghoul also said that Comey was fired because he wouldn't tell Trump he wasn't a target of the investigation.I think that's obstruction.

Why is Rudy ratting him out? Does Rudy want/need this investigation to go away? He's involved, of course, through the Turkey part of the scandal.

These agreements are very common among celebrities and people of wealth. In this case it is in full force and effect and will be used in Arbitration for damages against Ms. Clifford (Daniels). The agreement was used to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair, despite already having signed a detailed letter admitting that there was no affair. Prior to its violation by Ms. Clifford and her attorney, this was a private agreement. Money from the campaign, or campaign contributions, played no roll in this transaction.

I feel like the President just admitted to a campaign finance felony on Twitter. It doesn't matter if the money came from Donald Trump personally or whatever he called his campaign finance war chest, these were funds to keep her quiet so she would not impugn his character during the campaign. By its nature the money was used to help his campaign and should have been disclosed.

that's not what was being asked. a president is not able to just commit crimes and not be held accountable. that is what i was responding to

and yes, if he raped or murdered people and the investigation showed it was credible, he would be impeached. even by this congress.

Ghouly-ani on F&F this morning said they only made the payment to Daniels because they had to stop the story before the election (directly connecting it to finance laws)

How is this whole Comey thing a safe space for Don? Fired him because he would not give assurances that he was not the target of an investigation? Seems pretty clear that is obstruction.

Time to start watching to see what the ace lawyer Flood does... leave immediately? How can he abide by the Rudy chat.
