he won't be impeached if there isn't the political will for it. Do you think the GOP-led congress will impeach him? And some of this stuff was settled in the courts during Clinton's scandal, but other things haven't been decided and I don't really trust this court to side with justice.
that's not what was being asked. a president is not able to just commit crimes and not be held accountable. that is what i was responding to

There's a school of thought, and I don't think it's been tested in the courts, that the president is pretty much above the law. I'd like to think the congress would do their job, but then I've been saying that for the last year with no response from them except obstruction. The GOP members of these committees know Trump has broken the law, yet they continue to cover for him.
