Very few if any economists think tax reform was needed at this time (economy already booming) and most don’t think it will lead to any real GDP growth.
On a scale of 1 to Chris Brown, how pissed is he?

If anyone gets to stand in front of a mission accomplished Banner, it's Netanyahu. That little discussion in English about Iran directed to one person sitting in Washington DC was the Perfect Beat. Donald feels 200% Vindicated that he knew all along. Of course I'm absolutely positively sure none of this information has been vetted, and I'm even more certain that whatever this old data is, is likely very well understood already inside the United States.

and what's the chance that this admin will do anything to check to see if what he says is true. He told them what they wanted to hear. They'll just accept it.

ZERO. Netanyahu likes him, really-really likes him (or more accurately Netanyahu plays him like a fiddle, so easy that it is a Level 1A violin piece, but hey), and that is more then enough. To check these claims it sounds like you need to check the historical files.

As far a a nuthingburger, which is a term that should be buried IMHO, the there-there is not the content, but that Netanyahu walked out on a stage in Israel and presented solely in English so that it would be replayed for Trump building the sense that the president was right, and that the common foes of Iran and Obama can be vanquished. A middle school student might have picked up on the idea that something is wrong there, but not DJT.

So when the Iran deal is kicked to the curb and we move to a war footing on yet another front, nuthingburger is whats for dinner.

Virginia’s largest public university granted the conservative Charles Koch Foundation a say in the hiring and firing of professors in exchange for millions of dollars in donations, according to newly released documents.

The release of donor agreements between George Mason University and the foundation follows years of denials by university administrators that Koch foundation donations inhibit academic freedom.

Mason, which has developed a reputation over the years as a conservative powerhouse in law and economics, has received increased scrutiny about its connections to the Koch Foundation since 2016, when Mason renamed its law school for conservative jurist Antonin Scalia. A 2016 analysis by the AP found that Mason received more money from the foundation than any school in the country.

You beat me to it. That is a shit show. Something else is that this is not the only university with the Koch plan. Florida State as well. I find it curious that the two named are state schools. There is a website, that I have not gone to, named something like unkochmycampus that names other universities and colleges with similar deals.

I am sure I posted when the Law School was rename that there was an anonymous donor and the Koch Brothers with the requirement that it be renamed. Koch's gave $10M with the anonymous donor pumping in $20M.

That deal with the devil at public institutions is extremely troubling.

That's impossible. We all know higher education is filled with liberal influences and there is no place in higher education for conservative thought.

Jefferson also used a newspaper to do battle with political foes, so this is nothing new, except that the foe is his lawyer, or not his lawyer depending on the tweet, or "interview".

This coupled with Netanyahu's TED talk-esque spin is just wonderful. Especially because from what I've seen his presentation was, for all and intents and purposes was pointless. Most if not all of what he presented was known or believed to be known which is why there was the deal, to prevent a nuclear Iran. I don't get the end game here, unless it is war with Iran which is terrifying.

There was only one point, make Don tear up the Iran deal based on innuendo and Bibi high fives. I am sure that Don never though that it might be a little odd that the talk was in English.

Yeah, the talk might as well have been prefaced with 'Dear Donald'

I meant the end game of ending JCPOA, I know that Netanyahu's presentation was to push Trump to end the deal.

This is really, really common. At University of Arkansas, The Walton Foundation basically pays for a separate college of education to promote charter schools. On the other side, lots of universities have Confucius Institutes, which are funded by China and offer courses in Chinese but are also an opportunity for China to exercise "soft power".

Though donors are not always interested in promoting a specific ideology, big donations are almost always tied to an agenda of some sort or another.
