It looks like the same trends we saw in VA, we saw again tonight in AL. Lots of suburban R's (particularly women) are voting for the Democrat.

That suggests a strategy they haven’t shown, i.e. healthcare, tax bill, Alabama Senate race, etc

I saw a stat saying that Jones winning made the likelihood of a Senate flip in '18 go from 25% to 48%. No idea how reliable that is though.

Fuck it - the establishment may have mixed feelings about this. They lost a seat but can crow about how they arent perverts. However I think that since Jones won against such overwhelming odds it should scare the shit out of the GOP.

And the odds were fucking crazy

They're probably ultimately more alarmed that their generic R candidate for the runoff who was backed by establishment and got a plug from sitting president lost to bannon/roy fucking more
