Dick Durbin (D-IL) calling for resignation now too. It seems like it's only a matter of time. The only Democrat I have seen give a "noncomittal" response was Senator Klobuchar, but since she's the junior Senator from Franken's state it's more out of respect of that relationship. She stated that she talked to Franken and that he will make a statement tomorrow. I assume that he will resign tomorrow and he told her that when they spoke personally.

Also, Tom Perez (head of DNC) has called for Franken's resignation

that was a weird announcement. yes, the move was announced, and some action commissioned, but then there was a whole lot of other things that were not so committed to.

hes very bad at giving speeches. was listening on the radio. i could only focus on him take a deep breath through his nose every fifth word or so. no wonder he hates stairs if speaking sentences leaves him winded.

I saw that. Makes me think he might not ever die if he can eat that with any regularity and live. I'd be dead before Sunday if I tried that.

Don Jr. has been in a House Intel meeting for 4.5 hours.. not sure if that's remarkable, but I just got a twitter notification about it. I didn't know he was testifying today, I assume it's a closed meeting - I couldn't find it on CSPAN.

Time's article about the persons of the year brings up Trump's accusers. <sound of cheers>

Heard earlier that he was going to try the bull rush strategy that dad uses and just plow them under. Crap like 'he's so smart', and he's not part of the administration. The prediction seemed to be that he would screw it up... just like dad and his phone. Hopefully they need him to come back tomorrow with instructions not to leave the city until its over.

My guess is he has the WH chef recreate it and now it is healthier versions of that stuff so he may live forever now.

I've got to assume someone like Trump fires any Dr. who would tell him to improve his health habits, and it wouldn't surprise me if he's really not getting much medical care at all--has he had blood work done or his blood pressure checked? Maybe it's not dementia, but rather a series of small strokes that is causing his erratic behavior.
