Trump says he suffers from delusions of grandjury- politics

Democratic Mayor Jim Kenney said Tuesday that now is the "right time" for a conversation about the statue of Frank Rizzo, a former mayor and police commissioner who critics say reigned over the city when police brutality was the accepted norm.

On Monday, Democratic Councilwoman Helen Gym called for the statue's removal on Twitter.

Rizzo's son responded by telling KYW-TV that his father was a fair person who treated people equally regardless of race.

the 'strategic and policy forum' and the manufacturing council, which to be fair were basically for show, have been disbanded because so many companies quit.

I'd like to believe I'm wrong but, as I've said before, there's no way a Republican Congress impeaches and removes Trump. It's just too damaging to their brand.

He could livestream himself being buttfucked by Putin and Republicans would say that a President is entitled to do what he wants in his leisure time. There's about as much chance of Trump being ousted as there is of North Korea rising up and deposing Kim Jong Un.

You're probably right, JFLY, but I could see it come to a point where they cut their losses. Another three and a half years of this could be even worse for their brand, and Pence would in theory be more likely to advance their agenda

But my money is still on him resigning before Mueller unravels his fake empire

If nothing happens between now and post election 2018 then he'll serve all four years.

No chance. If he didn't drop out of the race after the Access Hollywood fiasco, he's never going to step down from the Oval Office.

But would resigning even stop what is going to come from Mueller?

Pence would almost certainly pardon him.

I was thinking more an agreement to not disclose embarrassing but not illegal stuff about his businesses (ie, that they don't really make money) if he resigns, but don't have a firm grasp of how that might work ya

Yeah that is what I meant, I didn't mean Pardon but if he was to resign to prevent embarrassing financials to come out I am not sure that would stop it.

Trump doesn't seem like the type of person that would resign, even if it prevents a big embarrassment from happening.

I see what you mean, but on the other hand he's a giant baby, could play victim and parlay it into a TV network or whatever, and doesn't seem to be enjoying himself

I'd guess he'd just dig in his heels even more rather than resign.

Yeah, I just can't see him resigning unless they get him on something really really bad and is being offered a deal of resign or go to prison. Otherwise he thinks he can just yell things away.

I feel like resignation requires some level of grace and humility. Trump has neither

I don't think he'll resign (or get impeached) but I do think he will not run for re-election. I just want this nightmare over.
