Early Alabama results coming in show Moore (American is as bad as the USSR because gay marriage) with 41%. On the D side, Jones has a big lead over nobody Kennedy. (really, fuck the Kennedys. The best thing JFK did in office was get shot.)

Kennedy is a terrible candidate, regardless of his race. And he's getting crushed so far. And Dems (and everybody else) need to stop thinking about Kennedy as a good President, because he pretty much sucked.

I've been involved with a number of, usually ineffective, efforts to preserve local history. Written some scathing letters to the editor, ceaselessly shared supporting views on twitter and facebook, maybe even showed up for a meeting. Some of the more ambitious for the cause have actually filed lawsuits and shown up at lots of meetings. Always seemed like just the proper amount of indignation, but these guys have taken it to the new level. We just need to turn their focus to historical preservation in general. It's almost as good as Naziism. If we could've rounded up a good mob bearing torches, I bet we could have turned the tide on that 1747 house.
