the 20 year old guy is just a POI. he posted the 1 million bail on non related gun charges somehow.
From what I read, the unrelated gun charges were related to the fact that he was put into a mental institution against his will and was barred from possessing a gun. He was arrested with a shotgun some months ago and had the charges dismissed in may for some reason and then they refiled them as this has unfolded.

Connect the dots!
The story on the street is a guy named Wm Riddle beat the tar out of a guy named Daniel Lynch near Temple University (you can look it up- horrific what was done to him). The four guys here were witnesses, and were somehow connected to Riddle and Cosmo. Riddle wanted to get rid of them, so he turned to Cosmo, who owed him drug money, and said you take care of them and we call it even.

with the new research, [George Church] and other scientists have begun to wonder if it may be possible to do something even stranger: to program bacteria to snuggle up to other cells in the human body and to record what they are doing, in essence making a "movie" of each cell's life

Apparently, they collect them all and boil them down or whatever to form new soap and they send it to third world countries. I mean, that’s pretty cool, but I think if I want to donate soap to people who can’t afford it or don't have access to it, I’ll just shell out a couple bucks to send them brand new soap.
