Celebrating infrastructure week with a Qatar solo-politics

it was a bizarre point to stick to. something you'd only keep pursuing if you have a political gain in it.

The investigation in discussion is about Russian Interference and whether a US Citizens/Trump Campaign is involved. The Hillary Investigation is about whether Hillary did something wrong, not whether she assisted the Russians to steal information(and ultimately undermine her campaign). Its so bizarre that it doesn't make sense. A better question would have been whether anyone in the Hillary camp was under investigation for Russian interference.

Sarah Huckleberry never ceases to impress. Comey refrain that can be summarized as liar liar pants on fire is the DjT is not a liar and it is insulting to say such. Well, has anyone been paying attention? She cannot call him a liar, or validate it, but he clearly has an unusual, unfamiliar relationship with the truth.

There was a great comment by Laura Coates on CNN to the question of why didn't Comey immediately pursue an obstruction of justice case after the meeting with Trump about letting Flynn go. She's a former prosecutor and (I'm paraphrasing here) she said any prosecutor would be looking at the end game objective, not smaller stuff in between (again, a paraphrase): "If a suspect tells you he stole a shovel because he had to bury some bodies, you don't immediately arrest him for stealing the shovel. You let him keep talking so you can find out about the bodies."

He's the guy running point for Trump's claim that he won the popular vote minus the illegals, right? And my followup question is, if he wins will it have been fraudulent?

Maybe I'm out in left field on this one, but I think that when you yourself turn over a non-official document that you yourself created.....its not leaking. Even more so when its the public equivalent of "rebuttal testimony" to nonsense that Trump peddled to Lester Holt.

Jon Ossoff has raised over 46M U$D for his GA-6 campaign. That is crazy. Cashi is flowing post Handel's quote in a debate that she 'does not support a livable wage'.

Humdinger, crazy times.

Frankly, I was kind of stunned by Comey's admission. It's always been my understanding that any work you create while employed is considered work product and is owned by your employer. Comey's a smart, experienced and knowledgable guy, so I suppose he knows better and maybe it's different with the government, but it really jumped out at me.

This is more esoteric then it seems. My wife swims in these seas of who "owns" something related to work and what that ownership then entails. That is more IP related generally, but I see it as similar. The short answer is that it is layers of grey. Now if it was his diary written at home in the book he owned, then it is a little different (that would be a recollection, not something actionable for profit). This seems stuck in the middle, especially without some profit motive.

i don't think a personal note I write myself after a meeting is considered "created work". I think it's more like if I wrote a book on my work computer, or something like that

anything i do on my work computer my boss is able to see. it may not all be construed as 'work', but it's all done on work property and is thus able to be mentioned or viewed.

no idea how that works w/ comey's love letters.
