Imagine if democrats won all the districts trump won by less than 27 points.

Thompson ended up losing by less than 7 points. A 22% swing. Pretty incredible.

Bannon was likely inflating his stature in the campaign by referring to himself as the campaign manager but he clearly must have had significant influence by that point to even go that far. So the suggestion that Bannon played a small role or worked on the campaign for a short time or was not involved until very late is, as is commonplace for this Administration, a bunch of bull shit.

well Manafort was the campaign manager before Bannon and Trump was distancing himself from him and claiming he wasn't very important either

so his entire campaign was run by people who aren't very influential or important
