My rep, Barbara Comstock does not really want to chance meeting with the public, preferring small groups (that she has some level of control over. She blew off an in person earlier this year, but had a call in. I listened in for about 15 minutes and it seemed staged (some guy saying/yelling his insurance was declared illegal by Obama/ACA, and now he can only get a policy at $10,000/month), so I hung up. The article says that activists are planning to hold town hall in Rep. Comstock’s Northern Virginia district with or without her. FTW, she is not a great legislator. Like the national stage, it was mudslinging with a sketchy competitor from the DNC.

Let's be clear on what is the terrible leak at issue: The public learning that the WH had been informed by DOJ last month that the National Security Advisor had been lying to the WH, could be blackmailed and had discussed sanctions with Russia before the inauguration and did nothing about it.

I was wrong last night when I said the Pubs in Congress would do nothing. Instead of trying to just hope it goes away they're doubling down -- with the WH -- and trying to make the story about who blew the whistle about bumbling, amateur, dangerous and treacherous behavior within the administration.
