Some guy flagged me down at the ramp at Gladwyne onto I-76 E about 6 months ago. He said he needed money and I said no and drove away. 2 months ago I saw a car that looked similar and the guy looked similar too, so I thought that was pretty odd. Didn't stop that time and I decided to call the cops and they told me they had been looking for this guy for a while and that he stands at the side of the road to scam people. Some scummy people out there.

go to this new laundromat and you can't just put coins or cash in the machine, you have to buy a special card for 3 bucks and put money on the card and then use the card on the machine. ffs man

I don't want to ruin the beautiful symmetry of it, but a mod should lock the temple thread. Gus money has the last post, it's at 50 pages, and its gusmoney's second post since 2013. Let's make bsg great again!

made a sourdough starter a few weekends ago and i've let it ferment since then. Kneaded it last night. Letting it sit for 12 hours until I bake it tonight. Gonna eat a loaf and watch the walking dead. The Walking Bread i will call it

Napalm posting in the late night thread at 11:40 is the worst thing to happen to this board.

I figured, whatever, caught me on a good day, and that's a unique enough request. She follows me into Rite-Aid, I go for like a quart of milk, and she points me toward some kind of expensive baby formula. I tell her, no, that's definitely not happening, and ask, do you want the milk or not? She begrudgingly says yes, I buy the milk, she grabs it off the counter and bolts without another word. Probably the most bizarre interaction I've had with another human being.

That's not really that bizarre. Formula is one of the easiest things to re-sell (whereas milk does you no good at all). It's why it's often found locked up. also why bibles disappear from book stores.

I made this request through a pm to a certain political maven mod when I started the new thread.. figured I'd make no headway with the St. Joe's grad.

but apparently no one cares about the inner cities.

there's a warrant out for arrest and the guy has fled

WHO THE HELL DOES THAT

Hope he's ok. That's insane.

Reminds me of what happened to my cousin. He had a bit of an altercation in a bar, but it was broken up and everyone seemed to forget about it. When he went to leave the bar, the guy was waiting outside and drove his truck into my cousin, crushing him between the truck and a wall. He died 3 times during the rescue and subsequent surgeries, but somehow made it through the ordeal. Ended up losing an ear and having to walk with a cane. Works at Three Mile Island now and married a girl 15 years his junior. Tough SOB.

Oh yeh, the guy who did it was one of the Cuban refugees that came to the area in the 80's or early 90's. Weird fact.

One of the things I swear I always do and apparently actually almost never do is to remove the plastic tags stuck in common plants like impatiens and petunias where even I can remember what they are. Cleaning up the yard and containers on this beautiful day and they're all over the place.

Built myself a fire pit last summer, but I suck at building a fire. I need a man to come over here and start one for for me.
