the waxing poetic over joe biden sort of amuses me; he was one of the more corporate Democrats that existed. i'm not sure how this was some election against ingrained interests and yet joe biden is getting tons of love.

PA-6 and PA-7 in the suburbs swung from narrowly going Romney to narrowly going Clinton. Further up, PA-17 went from Obama +12 to Trump +10. Bigly.

it's because he, like bernie, is an old white dude who can talk to "real america" and make them feel good. obama was really good at it too, as was bill clinton. hillary, being a shitty woman (in addition to being a bad campaigner who was under FBI investigation), had little to no chance.

unless dems nominate a transcendental figure who captures the nation's imagination they can't just abandon the middle america vote. it's inexcusable that hillary did not campaign more in PA, WI, and MI

this is my district. it meanders up to Reading to include our votes so they can win it by this margin so Republicans can also win 6, 8, etc by close but not very close margins.
