Biden is 'corporate' and Hillary 'liberal'?

The baseline truth is the candidate needs to be comfortable in his/her own skin.

Perhaps, but the two that Clinton won have Republican congressmen, and the one that Trump won has a Dem congressman.

I believe Biden would've done a deal to cut social security, so yes, I define him as far more corporate than Clinton because of my own biased baselines. Obviously people can and do disagree.

I'm trying to imagine being so un-self aware that I'd say racism has nothing to do with Trump & the GOP, when his entire campaign is predicated on white angst. He rose to political prominence through the racist birther bullshit, then galvanized his racist followers by demonizing Mexicans & Arabs. He spent the majority of his campaign railing against globalism, which was a knowing anti-semetic nod to white power ideologues. he was buoyed by an endless amount of white power memes on the internet, literally in every comments section discussing politics feasible. he's the only candidate in modern history to be supported boldly, publicly and almost unanimously by white power hate groups. in the GOP base it's common parlance to call BLM a terrorist organization. I could go on. It fucking nauseates me. If you don't think this has to do with racism you're either really stupid or really delusional. That I have to type this out makes me despise azrider.

a good way to judge who probably won't be winning the 2020 Democratic nomination is if they voted against the amendment to reduce prescription drug prices by allowing Canadians drugs in:

Bennet, Booker, Cantwell, Carper, Casey, Coons, Donnelly, Heinrich, Heitkamp, Murray, Tester, Warner

8 are up for re-election in 2018: Cantwell, Carper, Casey, Donnelly, Heinrich, Heitkamp, Menendez, Tester.

i wonder if casey would even get a primary challenger, though.

Booker and Casey have put out statements saying they are for importing from Canada but only with safety regulations that were not included in this amendment.

I also don't totally blame Booker/Menendez because it would cost thousands of jobs in their state.

why is that a good way to judge? seems so nuanced that i cant imagine that being a big attack line in the primaries.

sure, but i don't think Canada's standards are THAT much lower than ours.

i'm also saying that something like will completely derail someone if they try to run in 2020, especially someone like Booker who has a lot of other stuff that would be brought up.

Casey has no plans beyond the Senate or being governor, I would think.

if you read or listen to incredibly liberal outlets it has given all of these politicians a scarlet letter. they'll be opposed. it's just how it's going to be.

Booker's out because he is a goldman cheerleader who happens to give a good speech.

I think the safety thing was more for fear of counterfeit, not of for the drugs being safe. The vast majority I'm sure would be drugs that are already approved here.
