you mean dems?
say what you will about republicans but they at least understand that their job as a political party is to win elections. and they do that by whatever fucked up means necessary. democrats just sit on the sidelines taking L after L, more concerned about not straying from norms of politeness and Doing The Right Thing. Shit, NC Dems raised all that money to reopen the burned down GOP office and then were repaid richly by outgoing loser Gov McCrory trying to change the rules of engagement

this seems to be a prevailing narrative that ignores Dems won 2 of the last three prez elections, 4 of the last 7 and 6 of the last 7 popular votes.

Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.

undeniably, they do great in national elections. but the 4 outta 7 times they won were when they had an all-universe candidate (bill and barack) who were both extremely charismatic and great orators. they were both amazing on the campaign trail.
on the state/local level they've gotten their asses handed to them for a good while now, and i think that matters. Republicans get into local office and basically push their shitty agenda nonstop and with little resistance. meanwhile we had dumbass debbie wasserman schultz running the DNC
Sources tell CNN that these same allegations about communications between the Trump campaign and the Russians, mentioned in classified briefings for congressional leaders last year, prompted then-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid to send a letter to FBI Director Comey in October, in which he wrote, "It has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisors, and the Russian government -- a foreign interest openly hostile to the United States."

And I'd say it's our fault but it was only 'necessary' because of the Republicans in senate so...I won't yell at Harry Reid too hard.

that said, I expect absolutely nothing to come of this. Seriously though, what COULD come of this? In the political/legal sense?
