Comey stated he 'would never comment on investigations whether open or not in a public forum.'

this was in regards to Russian hacks...

I want a cool name like Angus King. I am sure that there is some research on naming a kid something strange and that child either smashing his way into the world, or never coming out of the basement. I only say that because you see sever unusual names in prominent public positions (in the public, not necessarily as a politician - but there are plenty to choose from there), but you never work with anyone named say Young Boozer (Alabama State Treasurer) or the more mundane Steny (Hoyer) or Newt (Gingrich).

Trump supporters are calling Lindsay Graham a traitor on Twitter because of his comments on Russia. Oh, the irony.

sessions apparently was unable to discern the import of Senator Leahy's hypothetical about whether someone grabbing a woman's genitals uninvited might constitute sexual assault, so he unhesitatingly said yes - then moments later awoke & sorta-kinda tried waffling it back

Maddow said last night that many of them have yet to submit all the required documents to the Ethics committee. This is something that's typically done before confirmation hearings begin. Not this year.

I agree based on precedent, but might disagree based on partisanship. Unless there's a daschle-like 'scandal', I don't think a few minor ethics violations or conflicts of interest are going to grow the GOP senators any spines.

It's depressing that sessions is going to get confirmed. The Republican party is loathsome but Democrats are fucking spineless if they can't even stop some of these nominations, I don't even care how. Shut down the fucking Govt like tea party did. Fucking hate this
