In disbelief he didn't go with the obvious title: Every Day I Wrote The Book

You mean Beyond Belief. In my opinion it’s streaked with some of the best writing – funny, strange, spiteful, anguished – we’ve ever had from an important musician.

Oh wait, that's the New York Times.

Finally buckled down and read The Martian. Whole lotta scientific and chemistry jargon. Thought Watney was actually really funny

After seeing the godly Revenant trailer, had to make that my next reading choice.

I've got 3 Audible credits, any audiobook recs?

I have David Sedaris' latest, plus Colin Quinn's Coloring Book. Also have a few business books like $-Hour Work Week and one on creativity. Tending towards great stories/collections read by the author.

Finally got the McCullough Wright brothers bio. I'm enjoying it. At only 335 pgs, it's hardly more than an essay for McCullough.

With 2 of his 3 Presidents (Truman, Adams; Roosevelt doesn't fit the script), McCullough sort of sneakily took on stories of 'uncomplicated' people, characters who 'everyone' knows, but doesn't know much about, and revealed their special complexities via an accretion of particulars that establish how thoroughly American and appealingly individual they were. He's taking basically the same approach with the Wright brothers.

I set a resolution to read 25 books and I am on my final one. I just cannot decide which it should be. I want to read The Martian, but it's on hold everywhere.

There's 45 on the list, so you've got 20 more to choose from

Do you have a Kindle? I can loan a copy to you. I picked it up a couple of months ago when it was $1.99.

Nope, I'm a tangible reader. I tried e-reading but it gives me a headache.

I feel like if I tried to do 20-25 a year I'd end up being like 'ah shit this book is 800 pages, NOPE'.

I've been loving Bill Bryson's "At Home." Had me enchanted reading about the history of bricks.
