Just a separate account for all your food pics and findings. Some people have a personal IG account and a side food account. That's all I meant.

Those Pirogis look super good man.

I just made perogies that can easily be frozen at the step before cooking https://instagram.com/p/BBOHlnUMzDB/

I wasn't a great cook when the kids were young so I don't have any go to's but also bear in mind that a slow cooker is also helpful as you make most of it in the morning and cook for 6-8 hours while doing nothing

the girlfriend made the "Quick Chicken Stock" from the Food Lab book. its not published online, unfortunately though.

not the easiest stock to make but definitely extremely rich and flavorful and doesn't take a long time. we're gonna take this and make soup dumplings with it.

i did find this book preview option though

Pulled pork/chicken is a good one. Soup I freeze the most is a pasta fagiole/minestrone - just keep the pasta out of it before freezing.

It's not exciting, but I also make ahead meatball parm sandwiches for my oldest's lunch. Wrap up the sandwich in foil before freezing, take it out the night before to thaw a little, then I cook it in the morning and throw it in a thermos.

Who wants to make a mock video of all these buzzfeed/facebook overhead timelapse recipe videos? I feel like they're covertly sponsored by Pillsbury and Kraft, since the recipes are typically:
Roll out can of dough
Dump 4 pounds of cheese on it
Add bacon/sausage/ground beef
Dump 3 more pounds of cheese
Roll up into the shape of a football
Bake at 350 for 30 mins
Serve with Ranch dressing

Made this tonight. By God is it amazing. Whew, only thing I'd change is more sausage.[PiP!!] Calls for 8oz I'd probably throw in 12-14oz.

Yeah, I could see that. Leftovers heat up pretty well even just in the microwave too.

What's everyone making for Sunday? I need to figure something out.

I've had the actual dish from Palace Station Oyster Bar a million times but I want to try and recreate it myself as this person did.

I'll be in your boat soon Savior and have been trying to game plan. I got the below week meal prep for free by giving my email address. It's paleo (which we're not doing) but I feel it gives a nice template. I also got a $50 off coupon to try FreshDirect and am having all the ingredients delivered. Never done the week meal prep or food delivery before but giving it a shot this weekend.

Also anyone got a go to recipe that I can either do in a crock pot or throw in an oven for a short time when I get to the party destination?
