What kind of person releases stuff like this? Just a media whore? Or am I supposed to feel better now?

Full freak out mode after their pics were posted I guess.

timeline i heard was they robbed the store, then killed the MIT cop (unclear whether he engaged them first or vice-versa), then car-jacked a guy, held him in the car, then released him, then got in a shootout w/ the cops in which the older brother died

OK. I was going by a local Boston news affiliate report. The officer was ambushed in his car, gun still holstered. Makes more sense if the hold up was first.

Still, it's like full freak out mode once they realized they were ID'd as bombing suspects. No exit strategy. If only they had done a calvin moustache, they could've just casually left the Boston area.

i'm not privy to when and who actually gets to vote for the fbi's top ten most wanted... but is it kind of like college football where they come out on sunday?

or does someone have to be caught/died on the top ten to get someone new in?

is there a waiting period to be considered eligible for top ten status?

is there an agent's poll and a newswriter's one?

I think it's when they have no idea where they are. In this case, they have a vague idea where he is (an area).

Did they really think they could bomb the Boston marathon and then live out their days in Boston?

IMO, yes. They stuck around for the week going on with their lives as if nothing happened. They probably figured they'd never be suspected.

Well, it looks like they weren't merely living but planning for more bombings, presumably in the Boston area.

Both. Regarding the state, she'd be a Braves fan.

Wanted to thank all you pals for the work you've done in this thread. I've got awful cable (no CNN, MSNBC, etc). This thread has been great.

I did get to watch a bit of the Aunt's performance this morning while waiting to get a passport at the state office in Seattle. Anyone else think she was all over the place, but maybe not unintentionally?
