if he keeps going at this rate - his resume will hold up to some of the best of all time. imagine if he was drafted by a contending team right off the bat.

With the fans unleashing a deafening roar, Brandon Phillips hit a little nubber in front of the plate that catcher Raul Ibanez picked up and threw to Ryan Howard at first for the final out.

Seriously, I wonder how often in baseball history a pitcher has had more hits in a game than the entire other team.

That's great.

More postseason wins than postseason hits allowed. You can go on and on with this.

Indeed, he also had more runs scored and RBIs than the Reds team. Clearly, the Reds could use a hitter like Roy on their team.

Hopefully Halladay is okay to pitch his next start. Sweeney is probably going to do nerve damage with his mountain man hugs tonight.

MLB Network is going to re-show the entire 9th inning after this commercial break. If you didnt DVR the entire game and you're near your tv, you could roll that.

It was clear after the first inning that not only did Halladay have perfect control over the strike zone, but also the collective dicks of the Greater Philadelphia area.

Rick Wise doubled it. And 8x'd total bases.
