At this point I'm expecting to see "Santana left arm amputated, Seaver arrested for sex with sea otter at bronx zoo, Mets to wear Brooklyn Dodger throwbacks for all 81 home games in 2011, Mets stripped of 1986 World Series etc.

Not to say that it isn't totally fucking thrilling to watch, but his excellence is so rarified and consistent that there's nothing the guy can do that would surprise me at this point. It's sublime, is what it is.

A Braves fan friend of mine is trying to convince me this is more the Reds fault than Halladays execution because the Reds took 19 first pitch strikes without swinging.
