It's fine, but we already lost game 2 and game 2 has never been a "must win" for the Phils, obviously.

I'll feel a whole lot better after Cole throws a couple of scoreless innings. Until then, I'm gonna just be scared @#@#$less that he's not gonna have it. Again.

I can't watch anything sports related at the moment. Is that because they thought it should have been done earlier or he should have left him in longer?

That's what people are going to whine about until Saturday night, but the same people were the ones complaining when Charlie pulled him last week. He gave him a chance to go deeper, and it didn't work out.

Agreed. Well except that Cole has already done the couple innings thing. I guess I won't feel better until it's 1 run or less for 6 innings.

Hamels is beast on the weekend

I agree. I have the feeling Hamels has been hiding in the weeds in the playoffs and is ready to surprise a few folks. Besides, the Rockies and Dodgers are more familiar with Hamels than the Yankees, which is good for Cole.

Charlie's logic for not sending the runners: Utley doesn't GIDP much, doesn't want a line drive DP, and doesn't want a straight shot for Posada at third with the lefty batting.

Makes complete sense.

I was OK with him taking him out, so I feel like I'm well justified in ripping him.

Including the play in question.
