I still can't believe a team's first guy out of the pen in the ALCS was Darren Oliver.

He's facing the angels of anahiem ca

phils would have finished him before he recorded 4 outs
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

the angels haven't exactly gone toe-to-toe with the yanx, but they haven't been mopped either

and they're the team bringing in Darren Oliver

in other words if you were to ask me it says more about the AL's finest 2 teams than it does about the angels exclusively

Just turned the tv back on, and by the crowd noise I would have thought the Angels had scored four. Either there's a disturbing amount of Yankees fans there or they're both being directly miked.

Why was Melky Cabrera out of the dugout behind homeplate on that play?

I was sort of looking forward to playing the Yankees, but watching the Angels come unglued makes me depressed that we won't be playing them.

Although there's still hope.

The question is what creative explanation will the media come up with to say that Derek Jeter was directly responsible for all 6 of those runs score

Well, we asked for it, and we're going to get it. I hope our bullpen is up to the challenge; we have a few Darren Olivers out there I fear.

The good news: we now know that Chollie would have brought in Ryan Madson in that situation anyway. I :h: Chollie.
