Ours would have been about 39 pages if it weren't for post padding like this, woodrow.

Zo twittle:

Manuel gestured to Thome that Rollins would get his hit last night. Thome shook his head no. Manuel said he gestured again.

I remember espn.com did that for the Cowboys when Romo dropped that fg snap, saying the Cowboys came back to win. That was the best.

Thome is getting very close to the end of his deep cover assignment. He even got a hit off Eyre to really set the Dodgers at ease with his allegiance.

Once the Phils pound Vicente and lock down the last out of Game 5 though, Thome is going to rip off his jersey to reveal red pinstripes, club Torre over the head with a folding chair and then join the celebration pile as Jim Ross yells "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"

I've still got my Thome jersey waiting. The only official jersey I ever bought.

Charlie said that during his PC which just ended a few minutes ago. He also said that in 05-06, he thought some of his players were "tight" and pressed too much......

Oh also I missed it in the game thread, but how did you guys feel about Pedro playing footsie with Manny and Furcal?

I thought it was borderline rad but it came at a time when I was fuming.

Yeah, I love Pedro, but I found it a little irritating. Didn't Charlie chew out some players for doing that with another team a year or two ago? I'm thinking J-Roll and Burrell were the culprits.

I also caught Pedro grinning when Manny hit the HR in Game 1. Not like he was thrilled or anything, but he certainly didn't look upset.

Guess we just accept it, like a hot girl who takes hours to get ready.

I am pretty sure it was Pedro completely busting Manny's balls for getting undressed by Madson. And then Manny making fun of his own swing. Under those assumptions, I like it

OOOOOOOOOh. That makes more sense. The announcers thought they were all clowning Loney.
