I'm drunk and exhausted.

But critically acclaimed and respected.

For the record, I have MLBN on now--I just happened to write "drunk and exhausted," and then the rest of the line just bubbled up.

I went with the Pogues in the last game of the Colorado series. Guess I'll have to keep finding situationally appropriate bands whenever the TBS douches become too much to take.

So Charlie didn't even consider putting Chopper back out there for another inning, since it was his first appearance back from a long layoff. Fair enough.

Daulton basically said the same thing. Actually said he'd have gone out there and ripped Hamels' teeth out

My favorite part of tonight, and I'm sure it was noted in the thread that I need to read, was the lefties effing up Sherril.

So good.

Hail and well met fellows. Winning game 1 is sooooooooo important. The Phillies have been in 16 postseason series in their illustrious history, not including the current one. The Phillies have won game 1 11 times (1915, 1977, 1980 LCS & WS, 1983 LCS & WS, 1993 LCS, 2008 DS, LCS, & WS, 2009 DS), and gone on to win 8 of those series; meanwhile, they have never won a series in which they lost game 1 (1950, 1976, 1978, 1993, 2007).
