Does he not have a take sign?

i was thinking this last night. i got over it, since it was never gonna happen. but if you're running on first movement, how do you know when that actually is?

It's "rosin bags." Although if you google Rosen and hit "images," you might find what you're looking for.

Nice job Feliz. Fuck you swinging at first goddamn pitch. Fuck.

How is what Betancourt doing not a balk? He seems to be doing that weird shit with his left foot EVERY time he pitches.

up 2-1 in a best of 5?

I meant in this game, not necessarily for the series.

But momentum, etc.

According to David Murphy the Phillies are heading home regardless of outcome of the game

He had an AB yesterday where he looked at a few pitches and he ended up walking. I just don't get why he doesn't learn from that. He was taking pitches early in the season and was hitting well. Why not learn from that.

I think that maybe he just can't read pitches and he just guesses up there. I see no other explanation. But still, just stand there until he throws a strike or two, rather than assume the guy is going to groove a pitch because the bases are loaded.

If he is going to get away with that, he can never ever try to quick pitch. Has to come to that exaggerated set after the twitches every time or else he's gaining an advantage with them
