It's not that he's awful. It's just that he doesn't add much, IMO; he does what someone like Paul Hagen or Salisbury does, but he's not even as good.
Yeah, but to be fair, thats kind of his role there, because they offer very little weekend content. The one thing his column is normally good for is quotes from scouts on major leaguers. I don't really know of his rumor reputation, but it honestly wouldn't shock me if we decided to back off on Halladay. Whether its just posturing, or whether its real. We're 8 up in the loss column.
