Can you elaborate? I could not find it on phillies.com (which I suspect you meant)

i guess it was a live press conference , i only caught the end , didnt really catch anything special he said

He talked mostly about their relationship, how special it was to do the WS, and the Harry & Whitey dynamic.

Paraphrasing:

"Whitey, knowing how my father lived, has probably been wondering all these years 'How in the hell did I beat you here by 10 years'?"

Talked about going to the horse races down in Clearwater (the Derby, I'm not sure if it's actually in Clearwater) and how it was Harry's favorite spot. He said he knew something was wrong with him when Harry told him this offseason on a visit there that he thought this would be his last visit to the Derby.
"Everybody's a critic. This wasn't an aesthetic endeavor."

I would think there would have to be. My guess is they haven't announced anything yet since they are trying to determine where to have it since the crowds are going to be gigantic.

memorial service Saturday at CBP per WIP.

Eskin was letting callers just talk about Harry, then he played a month-old interview in which Kalas talked about the coming season and how he was healthy. Got me going again, I've been a mess all day.

This is seriously the most gut-wrenching loss I personally have dealt with in a long time, and I never met the man. I think that speaks volumes on the person he was.

What a tremendous individual. I can't believe he's gone. Rest in peace, Harry.

I suppose if I don't step out of the shadows now I never will. I cannot add to what has already been said about the man who brought us such joy and hope over the years. Highs and lows, Harry was constant. What I would like to say is thank you, all of you. When I heard the news yesterday I felt like, well, like most of what I have read. There were no words. I was conflicted by the fact that I felt so much grief for someone I had never met.

When I got home I logged on to check out Backshegoes as I normally do during the season, and I found comfort. I found a group of people who felt the same way I did, who shared stories about the man who is the only voice of baseball I have ever known. A group of people, who like myself had mostly never met the man but were so effected. As I began to talk to my fellow fans at home I further realized that I am not alone in this feeling. I just wanted to thank you all for giving me a place to come and get some comfort. To find out that my tears were far from alone. Maybe this will spur me to join the community more often in posting, I'd certainly like to. Either way though I will be here, mourning the loss with the rest of you.
