I think I'm going to start playing tennis again next weekend. Sorry, was this the watching tennis thread or general tennis thread?

Nadal wins in straight sets over Murray, but the match was better and more competitive than a typical straight-sets match. Murray actually played pretty well, but Nadal was a little better.

The wind was a big issue in the middle of the Nadal-Murray match, but it appears it will be less of an issue during the Djokovic-Federer match.

feds in total control, up 5-2 with break pt/set pt, in control of the point, gets cute and misses a drop shot, nadal wins the game and the next four to take the first set. this will be over quick now.

The crowd is fully behind Federer. That helps. Looking like he can as long as he continues to get a decent percentage of his first serves in.

In a strange way, Fed losing to Djokovic in the Semi's might be better for Rogers legacy. At this point in his career, just don't think he can match up well enough with Nadal to beat him in a Grand Slam Final. Would have been another Slam to add to the Rafa tally. Novak matches up far better with Nadal, and has a good chance of taking a title away from Rafa. Hard to see Nadal ever catching up to Fed if Novak plays at this level for the next handful of years.
Continued success, thanks for comin' on the show!
