If you go driving in your car and don't wear your seatbelt, you don't deserve to die, but sometimes another driver runs a red light and hits that car and the driver without the seatbelt dies. definitely manslaughter, though, right?

While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail, the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked her dog down the street and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign right in front of our house, and countless people strolled right down the sidewalk. After about an hour, I checked on my car. I was surprised to see it was still sitting there in the driveway, right where I had left it. It hadn't rolled itself outside and it certainly hadn't killed anyone, even with the numerous opportunities it had been presented to do so. In fact, it hadn't even started itself.
Now, you can well imagine my surprise, with all the media hype about how dangerous cars are and how cars kill people. Either the media is wrong and it's the misuse of cars by PEOPLE that kills people, or I'm in possession of the laziest car in the world.

Not sure about this. My street flooded last night and a few people abandoned their cars. There was still one left this morning, right in the middle of the street. While I was standing on my porch this morning, I watched one car stop behind it and honk it's horn until they realized no one was in it. They went around it. The next car to come down the street plowed right into it. Not sure if anyone was injured or killed though. That car could have killed someone. This is a true story btw.
