CBS says the Rangers are "listening" on Lance Lynn. His contract is crazy cheap. I feel like the Phillies would want to send salary back, so I imagine whatever the Rangers want it's more than the Phillies have to offer.

Yeah this seems like an obvious trade off with paying JT what he’s worth. Or end of the rotation or bullpen. They need to go cheap somewhere.

We're one game behind our pythWL (13-13) and seems somewhat remarkable considering how bad the bullpen was up until this week. Quietly Nola and Wheeler are really getting the job done (Arietta hasn't been too bad, either) and we are scoring runs. If they can somehow get above .500 between now and Labor Day, they might have a shot.
