If the ride is the issue I will personally drive him to wherever the #$!&@ it is he’s from.

Somewhere in Canada they won't let you in so you'll have to drop him off at the border.

Jayson Stark@jaysonst26m
The #Phillies bullpen now has a 10.66 ERA when *leading.*

That's a higher ERA than any other team's bullpen ERA when *trailing.*

Their incomprehensible stats when pitching with a lead: 15 ER, 23 hits, 5 HR in 12.2 IP.

#Braves bullpen when leading: 0.56 ERA, 2 ER in 32 IP.

It's an experimental season so they're experimenting. New market efficiency

Tbf, if there’s ever a good time for a bullpen to give up a 7 run inning, it’s probably when you’ve got a 12 run lead in the 9th.

But he doesn't have that aura Hamels had where you could just tell he was going to be great. He could be great or he could be a slightly better Pivetta. Time will tell.

Dude...low bar.

Pivetta looks scared out there. I think he'll be fine if he gets a psychiatrist, another pitch and movement on his fastball. I don't think that is asking too much.

I can't believe that I was all in on him breaking out prior to last year.

I think that's a ton to ask.

I'm waiting for him to complain that he's pitched poorly because he's a starter, not a reliever.

He’s got talent he’s just soft. Surprising for a Canadian, maybe he needs to go on a vision quest in the Yukon to figure it out.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Does he even really have much talent, though? He has one pitch. A fastball with zero movement.

Jim Salisbury

Hearing credible buzz of potential Phillies bullpen moves. Connor Brogdon being strongly considered for promotion. Lanky RH. Mid 90s with excellent changeup. Stay tuned

Anything is an improvement. Just keep Neris, Morgan and Alvarez and go from there

I don't get how Pivetta can be on the roster tonight. Unless there's some healthy or personal thing that was going on.

I'm told J.T. Realmuto hasn't set a deadline for contract talks with the #Phillies because there haven't been discussions since the pandemic shutdown. He has never received an actual offer. He'd be willing to discuss a deal during the season but the team hasn't initiated talks.
