23 AAV would match Mauer for the highest for a catcher. I'd be pretty nervous about anything beyond 4 years even with the DH.

No but since it is pretty much exactly what they can do without going over the 5% tax area, it feels like a good number to me. But I'll be happier when that signing actually gets announced.
