The NBA was also 80% done with their season and had many options to bubble in. Baseball doesn't have many options and is trying to play a regular season plus extended playoffs. It was always going to be harder but they did make a mess of it.

NFL is going to have the same problems.

Whoever was involved, at management level, in using a poll of the players as to whether or not to play should be out of baseball immediately. They’ve endangered the health of others and cost the game more than just money.

The players aren't free of blame here. They supposedly said no to an Arizona bubble and they definitely aren't following guidelines or rules.

Sure though I’m not sure we can exactly pinpoint what “saying no” means in the context of the clusterfuck that was the negotiations between them and the owners.

I thought they completely took it off the table but don't remember what was reported.

The whole sport probably hinges on what comes back from the Phillies tests which are being analyzed today at a Rutgers lab, according to Ken Rosenthal. He tweeted results would be out tomorrow morning, but you'd think maybe they try to expedite.

Marlins hitters saw VV on the mound and that bullpen and couldn't pass it up.

Say what you want about Kapler but his decisions with his starting rotations never led to the whole sport getting cancelled.
