The NBA was also 80% done with their season and had many options to bubble in. Baseball doesn't have many options and is trying to play a regular season plus extended playoffs. It was always going to be harder but they did make a mess of it.

NFL is going to have the same problems.

Sure though I’m not sure we can exactly pinpoint what “saying no” means in the context of the clusterfuck that was the negotiations between them and the owners.

The whole sport probably hinges on what comes back from the Phillies tests which are being analyzed today at a Rutgers lab, according to Ken Rosenthal. He tweeted results would be out tomorrow morning, but you'd think maybe they try to expedite.
